<sup>We’d like to invite you in for what we call our Comprehensive Exam. This a complete evaluation of your entire oral health system. During this visit, Dr. Adey will perform a detailed assessment that begins with gentle joint and muscle palpation outside of your mouth, helping us understand the connection between your bite, jaw, and overall comfort. We’ll also complete a salivary diagnostic test, which allows us to identify bacterial imbalances or early signs of inflammation, helping us get to the root cause of oral health issues before they progress. From there, Dr. Adey will carefully evaluate your teeth, gums, and any areas of concern. We’ll take high-resolution photos and any necessary X-rays to give you a complete view of your oral health. Think of it as a full tour of your mouth. One that gives both you and our team the insight needed to plan your care with precision and confidence. This initial visit takes about one hour. Based on our findings, Dr. Adey and our hygienist will determine which type of hygiene visit is most appropriate for you. Your second appointment typically scheduled 7–10 days later. This is designed to begin your personalized care plan and continue your journey toward optimal oral and airway health.
